Ludhiana, August 24, 2014: With a mission to capture 10% market share in the emerging Punjab telecom market and to strengthen its dealer-brand relationship in the state, Videocon Mobile Phones Division has hosted its biggest ever distributor meet at Hotel Maharaja Regency here today. Videocon Mobile Phones Division is a part of a 6 billion dollar Videocon Group.

According to available information, Videocon’s top officials Jerold Pereira CEO, Videocon Mobile Phones along with Nikhil Garg, North Sales Head felicitated more than 150 dealers & distributors of the state. At this one-of-its-kind dealer connect initiative, the company officials also discussed the way forward for the organization, and formulated forward-looking strategies for the brand. By strengthening its dealer connect, Videocon Mobile Phones aspires to reach greater consumer base which is in line with its aim of becoming one amongst the top three smartphone brands in the country by 2015.

The company officials also devised plans and future strategies to strengthen brand presence and introduce its upcoming mobile phone range in the aspirational market. The assembled partners discussed the current state of affairs in the blossoming telecom industry of the country and brainstormed on methods to strengthen the sector. The platform also discussed the organization’s market aspirations and goals while understanding the ground challenges in the evolving Punjab market.
