VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATED AT GOVERNMENT FISH SEED FARM IN VILLAGE MOHI

ALSO INTERACTS WITH FISH FARMERS

Sudhar (Ludhiana), August 6, 2018: Dr Shena Aggarwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Fish Farmers Development Agency along with Sunil Gupta, Assistant Director, Fisheries, Rajinder Kumar Kataria, CEO, Fish Farmers Development Agency, Ludhiana and the staff of Fisheries Department Ludhiana celebrated Van Mahotsav under the Mission Tandrust Punjab at Government Fish Seed Farm at village Mohi.

On this occasion, Dr Shena Aggarwal urged everyone to plant more trees and keep their surroundings greener. She also took a round of the Government Fish Seed Farm and interacted with the fish farmers. While speaking on the occasion, the ADC (D) said that farmers can shift from conventional farming to fish farming easily if they want to earn rich dividends. Fish seed was also distributed amongst the fish farmers present on the occasion and appealed them to always purchase the fish seed from Government Fish Seed Farms on subsidised rates.
