Ferozepur, November 24, 2015: The alert troops of the BSF have recovered two packets of heroin along the zero line of Indo-Pak international border at border out post (BOP) Jagdish today morning during the wee hours. While giving details, R.K.Thapa, DIG, BSF (Ferozepur) said that two packets of heroin were recovered during a special operation by BSF sentinels of 105 Battalion deputed at BOP Jagdish. The DIG said that these packets were recovered ahead of border security fencing in alignment of border post, approximately fifty meters away from the fencing. DIG Thapa said that the international market value of the heroin recovered today is approximately Rs. Ten crore.
