Ludhiana Pedallers Club collects donation for earthquake victims of Nepal

Ludhiana, May 7, 2015: To express its solidarity with the earthquake victims of Nepal, Ludhiana Pedallers Club organised a press meet at Ramgarhia Girls College. The club pitched to provide help to the people affected by the earthquake by raising funds. The natural calamity that jolted Nepal on 25th April 2015 has rendered a large number of people dead and countless people homeless. 
Ranjodh Singh, Patron, Jagdeep Malhotra, Secretary, Gurinder Singh, Cashier, Surjit Singh, Vice-President, Daljit Singh, Executive Member and Angad Singh, Member, Manmohan Singh Bhogal, Bhogal Industries and Prof. R. D. Chawla, Head, Department of Computer Science and Applications, Ramgarhia Girls College, reflected on the dismal state of the victims. 
While speaking on the occasion, Ranjodh Singh said that the members of the club visited many areas of Ludhiana to solicit support for the affected populations of Nepal. People from all strata of society contributed for the cause and the amount that they have gathered will be sent to an NGO based in Kathmandu, Nepal. 
Manmohan Singh Bhogal remarked that we should always do our bit to support the ones who are in dire need. Ludhiana Pedallers Club has also made a humble attempt to lend a helping hand to the earthquake victims. 
Jagdeep Malhotra said that the members of the club empathise with the plight of the people affected by the calamity and their effort to collect funds for them is a small gesture of their support.
