Two-Day Induction Programme Concluded at AIMTC

Jalandhar, August 4, 2015: The two-day Induction Programme for the students of MBA I MCA I, B Com (Professional) I, BBA I and BCA I today concluded at Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus. The purpose of the Induction programme was to help the new students develop a sense of camaraderie and  acquaint them with the functioning of the institution. Since Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus believes in personal mentoring and lending unconditional support to its students, all the activities that were organized  aimed at making students adjust to the new environment easily. 
The programme started on August 3, 2015 with the invocation of almighty and ceremonious lamp lighting.  Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institution accorded a warm welcome to all the new students and gave them an overview of achievements of the institution. 
The Day two of the Induction Programme started with a Welcome Address by Mr. Rajneesh Arya., Dean School of Management Studies. Ms. Rajan Choudhary, Dean School of Business Studies and Dr. Kulwant Kaur, Dean School of Computer Applications brought greetings for the students from their respective departments. They also provided information about the different schools of the campus and the cells and committees run by them. This was followed by talks of Professor In-charges of Training and Placement Cells of both Information Technology and Management.  Ms. Kanika Chopra, Assistant Professor in Business Communication introduced faculty members of all the schools to the students. 
The students were shown a PPT in which they got to know the activities organised by The Literary Club, The Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Corporate Relations Cell and the Inter-college Quizzes and Competitions organised in the campus. 
Isha of MBA III and Tammana of MCA V conveyed best wishes to the juniors nd offered them full support and help of seniors in all their academic endeavours. Movina of MBA III enthralled the audience with a beautiful Song. Sheetal of MBA I also mesmerized the audience with her dancing skills. Many fun games like Treasure Hunt, Tongue Twisters etc. Were also played to make students familiar and at home in the new place.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus expressed that this induction programme would have benefited the students and acquainted them with the functioning of the institution.
