Jalandhar, June 4, 2015: As the world celebrates environment day tomorrow, Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus organised a tree plantation drive. Director, Dr Rajesh Bagga led the initiative by planting saplings. The members of faculty also joined the initiative and planted saplings.
The faculty members were shown “An Inconvenient Truth”- a documentary film presenting an illustrated talk by former US Vice President Al Gore and aimed at making the public aware about the increasing planetary emergency due to global warming.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institute expressed that ecological crisis is a grave problem. All the nations of the world are confronting environmental problems of varied sorts that are catastrophic in nature.
