Training On Farm Journalism & Documentation Of Success Stories Concludes At PAMETI

Ludhiana, January 22, 2016 : The five day training programme on “Farm Journalism and Documentation of Success Stories” organized from 18 -22 January, concluded here today. 18 participants from the State Agriculture Department were given hands-on training on writing articles for magazines, success stories of farmers and press releases by PAU experts.

 

Dr Gurbhajan Gill, an eminent personality in the field of journalism interacted with participants and gave useful tips for writing success stories. Dr R. K. Dhaliwal took a session for writing script for TV talk and mock TV talk was recorded for the benefit of participants. Sessions of photo journalism and using social media for farm journalism was also arranged. Participants visited Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Park ( STEP) in Ludhiana and interacted with the first generation entrepreneurs who are making mark in the Industry. Participants documented success stories of two entrepreneurs who were manufacturing Laser Land Leveller and Ultrasound Milk Analyser. E-Documentation prepared by PAMETI, Kheti de Chanan Murare Volume-1 was shown to the participants. Training material of the course was distributed among the trainees.

 

Dr H S Dhaliwal, Director PAMETI chaired the valedictory function and congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the training course.
