Chandigarh, December 1, 2016: UGC Emeritus Fellow and Principal Investigator, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India Book writing Project on Malani Magmatism Dr. Naresh Kochaar has been chosen for the most coveted institutional of and Globally reputed Bharat Gaurav Award in the professional category for his remarkable achievements in the field of higher education and research for the year 2016.
Professor Kochhar has made significant contributions to the Malani Magmatism of Rajasthan and Haryana and gave the concept of Malani super-continent.
He has also contributed to the studies of source of uranium and other heavy matters in the ground water of SW Punjab and adjoining areas of Haryana. The award and certificate of excellence will be presented on 21st Dec, 2016 at the India
International Center, New Delhi.
The theme of the function is Economic Growth and National Integration and will be organised under the aegis of India International Friendship Society, New Delhi.
