Training Course On Enhancing Culinary Skills Begins At PAU

Ludhiana, June 28, 2016: A five-day training course on “Enhancing Creative and Culinary Skills” kicked off at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) under the guidance of Dr R.S.Sidhu, Director of Extension Education, PAU. School children and their parents are participating in this training course.
On the first day, home scientists imparted practical training in basic and embroidery stitches, painting and macramé knotting for skill development. Besides, experts would improve cooking skills of the children by give demonstrations in the preparation of snacks and drinks. Apart from this, trainees would be educated about innovative use of waste materials, preparation of utility and decorative articles by paper quelling, and preparation of toys.
