Tenneco Ltd selected 48 students of Poly Wing of SBS Campus

Ferozepur, May 4, 2016: In a major thrust to provide employment to diploma students of this border area belt, Polytechnic Wing of SBS State Technical Campus marked another milestone by providing job opportunity to 48 students in Tenneco Limited, Bawal (Haryana). This organization is a US based MNC selected with annual worldwide turnover of $8.4 billion. Its main product portfolio includes various parts and assemblies of Automobile sector.

Among selected students 33 are from current batch of 2013-16 Mechanical Engg and 15 selected students are from 2012-15 passout batch of Mechanical Engineering.

This MNC Company is offering annual salary package of Rs.1.4 lacs. All the Polytechnic Wing students of this Technical Campus were in joyous mood with this placement drive as this MNC Company has taken major chunk of eligible students.

Dr. T. S. Sidhu, Campus Director were blissful with this placement drive and congratulated all the Polytechnic Wing faculty for their efforts in placing students in MNC’s. He specially appreciated the efforts of Training and Placement Officer of Poly Wing Mr Retaish Uppal for taking keen interest in arranging major placement drives.
