Knowledge is Power, this concept drives the setting of Libraries in Govt and Aided schools. Reading habits of govt. school students are confined traditionally to the text books. With a view to inculcating reading habit among them, TANA with support from its partner BREAD Society is setting up Children’s Libraries in govt. high schools. 100 Libraries are targeted in the 6 months of which 30 are already in the process. These libraries are ensuring that books are accessible to students, encouraging students to run and manage the libraries, motivating students to read the books of their choice, motivating teachers who encourage reading habits in students and in honoring students and teachers who effectively use the libraries.

We see funeral homes, cemeteries in this part of the world in a pleasant environment as sending of a loved one in a most respectful manner is considered very important.  Unfortunately in many parts of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana the cemeteries/graveyards are used for every other purpose, other than for cremation Building a funeral shelter with basic amenities costs a minimum of $10,000.  TANA Foundation is supporting and guidingthe donors for executing these in their villages informed Sreenivas Gogineni.
