Winners of Tagline Writing Competition along with Dr. Sunit. Head, Department of English.
Jalandhar, February 27, 2016: The Department of English of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a Tagline Writing Competition on Saturday in which 40 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. The competition tested the creativity and ingenuity of the students. The Logos and Taglines were thought provoking and tested the brevity and innovativeness of the students.
Dr. Sunit, Head, Department of English addressed the students and extended her views that such competitions are helpful to give wings to the students’ imagination.
Anmol from BCA Sem. II bagged 1st position, Mansi Sabharwal from B.Com. Sem. II bagged 2nd position and third position was bagged by Nishchal Gupta of B.Com. Sem. II and Consolation Prize was given to Amol Chauhan of B.Com. Sem. II.
Dr. Sucharita, Principal of the College congratulated the winner and appreciated the efforts of the department in coming up with such an innovative idea. She congratulated the event organizer, Ms. Harpreet Kaur, Assistant Prof. in English for successfully conducting the programme.
