Summer Camp Begins at KMV

Jalandhar, June 25, 2015: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar started a summer camp for the girl students from KMV and the adjoining areas as part of its ongoing initiatives for the cause of women empowerment.  During this five day camp, the students will be given training in basic skills I Spoken English, Cosmetology, Computers, Cooking, Dressing up and Home Management etc.  Mrs. Seema Jain, the programme director of the camp, highlighted the programme schedule and the aims and objective of  the camp.

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Atima Sharma reiterated the commitment of  this historic institution to the empowerment of women through education by running such programmes.  Such programmes in still a sense of confidence and make the girls self-reliant.  On the first day, the resource persons were Mrs. Charu Sikka for Spoken English and Mrs. Anita for Cosmetology.  Dr. Kamaljeet, Ms. Geetika, Ms. Sonia Cheema, Dr.  Reena Virdi and Ms. Richa were present on the occasion
