Sports reveal character and personality of a child and develop a strong feeling of team work. Cambridge believes in holistic development of its young learners and sports form an integral part of education in Cambridge schools. Keeping the spirit of sportsmanship alive and living upto the expectations of her mentors, Skating player Briyanshi Thakur of Grade V of Cambridge International School, Jalandhar has got selected in three National sports events i.e. CBSE Nationals, SGFI and Open Nationals.

Briyanshi proved her potential by clinching a Silver Medal in CBSE North Zone II and got selected and participated for CBSE Nationals held at Bhopal. Along with this, she grabbed a Gold Medal in Open Punjab State Skating Tournament and will participate in Open Nationals. Last but not the least, she got a Gold Medal in Punjab School Education Board Inter School State Skating Championship held at Sangrur and will represent Punjab in SGFI National Skating Tournament at Belgaum, Karnataka.
