Jalandhar, April 29, 2017: Guru Nanak Dev University College, Ladowali Road organised Annual Prize Distribution.
Mr.Rajinder Beri (M.L.A) was the chief guest for the occasion college principal Dr.Jaspal Singh Randhawa extended floral welcome to him.
Total of 133 students holding positions in sports, academic and youth festival were awarded.
Dr.Randhawa congratulated all the students for their achievements. He expressed his views on the need of quality education and he also stressed that the need of the moment is to develop brains in such a manner so that they can excel in the global level.
Mr.Beri expressed that privatization in education field in somehow affected the quality of education, he stressed that we should be more innovative and practical in the field of education. He also encouraged students not to move abroad instead try to find maximum possibilities in India. He also expressed that it’s time to reform our education system.
College Annual report “Hesperus” was also released on the occasion.
Dr.J.K Gulati held the stage for the occasion.
Present in the occasion were DR Ashish Arora, Dr Sanjeev Arora, Mr. M.S Dhall, Ms Anubha Gaba, Ms. Deeksha Marwaha, Ms. Arvinder Kaur, Ms Jagjit Kaur, Ms Samriti Popli, Mr Sumit , Ms. Kanupriya, Ms Sukriti. Students were excited after receiving prizes.
