Students of Government Schools during their visit to Laboratories of SBS Technical Campus at Ferozepur.
Ferozepeur, December 15, 2015: District Education Officer (Sr Sec) and District Science Supervisor, Ferozepur are arranging visits of Government Schools students thereby giving them opportunity to visit Laboratories of SBS State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. The main objective of this programme is to make aware the students of poor families of this backward and border belt to have glimpse on latest Technology available in the SBS Technical Campus. The SBS Campus is one of the leading Technical Institute of northern India having NBA and NAAC accredited with UGC autonomy of undergraduate courses.
As per this programme students of Senior Secondary Schools of Ferozepur District of 10th Class and 10+2 class (Science group) are to visit the Campus and have a look at various facilities and equipments in state of the art Laboratories; Central Workshop; Computer Center; Smart Class Rooms; Hostels; Play Grounds; Market Complex and other facilities of Campus. Till now four schools namely, Govt Sr Sec. School Boys and Girls, Ferozepur; Guruharsahai and Zira have already visited the Campus and in the coming days students of Government Senior Secondary Schools of Zira (G); Bazidpur; Mamdot (B); Sande Hasham; Khai Feme Ji and Noor Pur Sethan.
On this occasion Sh Jagseer Singh, DEO and Sh Pardeep Deora (Dy DEO) gave information that this programme is made as per the directions given by Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Er. D. P. S. Kharbanda on 10th Nov during velidictory function of Inspire Awards. Er. D. P. S. Kharbanda assured school students that they will be given opportunity to visit state of art Laboratories of this premier institute.
Campus Director Dr T S Sidhu and Principal Poly Wing Prof Gazal Preet Singh thanked the District Science Supervisor Sh Rajesh Mehta; Sh. Sumit Galhotra (A.D.S.S.) and Sh. Deepak Sharma (Nodal Officer) contribution for their efforts for making various arrangements of students visit in this office.
