Students get opportunity to learn how to utilize various banking documents used in day to day life

Jalandhar, November 26, 2017: Post Graduation Department of Commerce and Business Administration of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous institution, Jalandhar organized a visit to Punjab National Bank, KMV Branch for the students of B.Com Semester-1.The visit was incorporated of more than 100 students which provided practical exposure to students regarding work culture of banks and managing banking operations. Students got an opportunity to learn how to utilize various banking documents used in the day to day life like pay-in-slips, withdrawal forms, cheques etc. The bank staff also elaborated to students the usage of plastic money like debit cards and credit cards. Practical demonstration of ATM was also provided to students. They were also explained about various payment modes like RTGS and NEFT. Principal, Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the faculty of commerce department for the continues efforts made for students in terms of theoretical knowledge as well as practical exposure.
