Jalandhar, July 10, 2015: The students of CT Group of Institutions have once again brought laurels to their institutions by creating another commendable mark in Academics. As many as 74 students have secured positions amongst top 10 merit positions in the Merit List of IK Gujral Punjab Technical University(PTU), Jalandhar of session 2014-15.
Time & again proving its excellence & supremacy in the field of technical education, the students of CT Group of Institutions namely Taniya Rana of 7th Sem B.Tech (EEE) with 89.1%, Sukhdeep Kaur of 3rd Sem B.Tech (ELCE) with 86.2%, Poornima Sehgal of Ist sem. M.Sc HMCT with 78%, Satbir Singh of 1st sem. M.Pharma with 69.25%, Arshveer Kaur of 1st sem M.Pharma (Pharmacology) with 79%, Jasmeen of 1st sem MCA with 87% and Manjeet Kaur of 1st sem. BBA with 87% bagged 1st positions in recently declared merit positions by IK Gujral PTU, Jalandhar.
IK Gujral PTU has released its Merit Lists of this examination carrying names of first ten toppers of the University in each class and discipline. The college students have bagged 74 positions in the merit list of PTU in the disciplines of Civil, EE, CSE, EEE, EE under B.Tech and MBA, BBA, BCA under Management Courses, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, Architecture and Hotel Management degree courses.
Feeling delighted over the achievement, the toppers of CT Group of Institutions said that the feeling to attain the top of the merit list is something which cannot be expressed in words. The students said that they are thankful to their teachers and parents, because of whom they have been able to attain such a milestone which they shall cherish for their life.
Among the 74 merit positions holders 12 students are from CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology (CTIEMT), 15 are from CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CTIPS), 18 from CT Institute of Management and Information Technology (Maqsudan, CTIMIT), 04 from CT Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (CTIHMCT), 11 from CT Institute of Technology (CTIT), 09 from CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM), 02 from CT Institute of Architecture & Planning (CTIAP) and 03 from CT Institute of Management Technology (CTIMT).
Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director, CT Institutions) said that he is proud of the students and faculty whose hard work is instrumental in bringing about such a wonderful result. Undoubtedly, this is a result of scientific approach novel Teaching Pedagogy techniques and consistent improvements in the quality of academics that the faculty has always delivered. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the position holders. He also wished them good luck to sustain & even excel in their positions for the upcoming examinations.
