Students created advertisements using softwares

Jalandhar, April 14, 2015: The students of B.F.A and M.F.A of the Department of Applied Art of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar created advertisements using softwares such as Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator etc.  These advertisements for brands like Tanishq, Monster, Makemytrip, Bourville etc. were created under the initiative of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC).  Sudhir Gera, Vice Chairman of Jalandhar Management Association and pillar of EDC said that these creative works and services can be accessed through proper collaboration between Industry and Academia and this was the need of the hour.  He said that they were working on the concept of Linking School to bridge the lacuna between the industry and academia.  Dr. Sucharita, Principal of the College said that it was essential that students should have a platform to commercialise their creative ideas and products and get a breakthrough in the business world.
