Winners of Umang 2016 along with the Principal Dr. Sucharita.
Jalandhar, March 5, 2016: Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar heightened its status by participating and proudly winning the overall trophy of Umang 2016, an Inter-College competition organized at Hindu Kanya College, Kapurtahala. Principal Dr. Sucharita felt elated and congratulated all the victorious students. In this competition, 40 students participated in 15 items and successfully won first positions in 5 items (Debate, Landscape, Collage, Fresh Flower Art and Innovative Dress) and 3 consolation prizes (E-Collage, Poster-Making and Slogan Writing).
Principal Dr. Sucharita extended her views that Apeejay has always proved itself by exploring and exhibiting the talents of young aspirants through such competitions. She also congratulated Ms. Supreet Talwar and Dr. Monika Arora for encouraging students to participate in such a tough competition.
