Ludhiana, August 1, 2016: The students of Amrit Indo Canadian Academy brought laurels to their school by winning various competitions in the LSSW English Fest held at Peace Public School.
As many as 270 students from various schools members of Ludhiana Sahodya Schools Complex (West) participated in the festival.
Teesha Bagga of (VI) spoke on the topic “Water Conservation need of an hour” and won a First Prize in English Elocution.
Sartaj Kaur of (III) and Pehchaan Rai of (III) won a second prize in Creative Writing Picture description and Grammar Olympaid.
The team of Ad-Mad show comprising students of IX-X Manveer Singh IX –D, Manvir Kaur X –D , Sarabjeet Kaur X-D, Husanpreet Kaur X-D Simranpreet Kaur X- B won a Second Runners up Trophy in their own category.
Principal Ms. Jaskiran Kaur congratulated the winners and their guiding teachers.
President, Mr. Harminder Singh and Director S. Navjot Singh appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and encouraged them to keep working hard and said that achieving success once is not difficult but to sustain that level is real success.
