STATE-LEVEL FUNCTION ON OCCASION OF “SATYAGRAH DIWAS” ON JUNE 7

CABINET MINISTER BHARAT BHUSHAN ASHU TO BE CHIEF GUEST OF THIS FUNCTION FUNCTION BEING ORGANISED ON OCCASION OF 150TH YEAR BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF MAHATMA GANDHI Ludhiana, June 4, 2019: On the occasion of 150th year Birth Anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, the Punjab government has been organising several functions throughout the year. On June 7, 2019, a state-level function on the occasion of Satyagrah Diwas would be organised in the city where Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu would be the chief guest. While providing information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal stated that this function would be held at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan, here on June 7. He informed that the function would start at 10 am and Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu would be the chief guest on the occasion. Besides this, MP Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu, all MLAs, other prominent personalities would also attend this function along with a large number of city residents. Mr Agrawal had appealed to the city residents to attend this function in large numbers and pay their tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.
