FOR GETTING SUBSIDY ON FARM MACHINERY USED FOR PADDY STRAW MANAGEMENT, FARMERS SHOULD SUBMIT APPLICATIONS BY JUNE 30: CHIEF AGRICULTURE OFFICER

Ludhiana, June 18, 2019: To ensure that farmers do not burn paddy straw that pollutes our environment, the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department Punjab has started a scheme where subsidy is given to farmers on farm machinery used for managing paddy straw. While providing information, Dr Baldev Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer, Ludhiana informed that like last year, this year also, subsidy on farm machinery would be given to the farmers of district Ludhiana under in-situ management of crop residue scheme.
He informed that this machinery would be used for management of paddy straw in the farm itself, so that the farmers do not burn it which leads to pollution in environment. He said that under this scheme, farmers would be given 50% subsidy for purchase of happy seeder, paddy straw chopper, multure, hydraulic reversible MB Plant, zero till drill, super SMS rotary slasher/shrub cutter. He said that the applications for subsidy on this machinery can be submitted at block agriculture offices by June 30, 2019 and no applications would be entertained after this date.
Dr Baldev Singh clarified that if the applications received are more than the target, then the farm machinery would be distributed to the farmers through the draw of lots. He informed that subsidy would be given only on that machinery which has been manufactured by companies approved by the agriculture department of Union government. He informed that under this scheme, there is a provision of 80% subsidy for registered farmers groups for opening custom hiring centres so that machinery can be used on rent.

लुधियाना, 18 जून, 2019: नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल नई दिल्ली की तरफ से वातावरण की सांझ संभाल अभियान अधीन धान की पराली को ना जलाने के आदेषों को लागू करवाने के लिए कृषि और किसान भलाई विभाग की तरफ से किसानों को कृषि मशीनरी पर उत्पादन देने के लिए योजना शुरू की गई है। इस संबंधी जानकारी देते हुए डा. बलदेव सिंह मुख्य कृषि अफसर लुधियाना ने बताया कि पिछले साल की तरह इस साल भी जिले के किसानों को इन -सीटू मैनेजमेंट आफ क्रोप रैजीडयू स्कीम के अंतर्गत उत्पादन पर खेती मशीनरी दी जायेगी, जिसे इस्तेमाल कर किसान धान की पराली को बिना आग लगा कर खेतों में ही संभाल सकेंगे, जिसके साथ वातावरण प्रदूषित होने से बचेगा।
डा. बलदेव सिंह ने कहा कि इस स्कीम अधीन किसानों को मशीनरी की कीमत पर 50 प्रतिशत सब्सिडी दी जायेगी। स्कीम अधीन हैप्पी सिडर, पैडी स्ट्रा चैपर, मलचर, हाइड्रोलिक रिवर्सिबल एम.बी.पला, जीरो टिल ड्रिल, सुपर एस.एम.एस. रोटरी सलैशर, श्रब कटर पर सब्सिडी के लिए अर्जियाँ तारीख 30 जून, 2019 तक ब्लाक कृषि कार्यालय में दी जा सकती हैं। इस तारीख के बाद कोई भी आवेदन नहीं लिया जाएगा।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि यदि अलाट हुए लक्ष्यों से अधिक अर्जियाँ प्राप्त होती हैं तो यह खेती मशीनरी किसानों को ड्रा आफ लाटस के द्वारा दी जायेगी। सब्सिडी केवल भारत सरकार के कृषि विभाग से स्वीकृत कंपनियों से खरीदी खेती मशीनरी पर ही दी जायेगी। स्कीम अधीन किराये पर खेती मशीनरी चलाने के लिए कस्टम हायरिंग सैंटर खोलने के लिए रजिस्टर्ड किसान ग्रुपों को 80 प्रतिशत तक सब्सिडी देने का भी प्रबंध है। इस स्कीम सम्बन्धित और ज्यादा जानकारी विभाग की वैबसाईट www.agripb.gov.in ;k www.agrimachinery.nic.in या ब्लाकों के कृषि दफ्तरों से प्राप्त की जा सकती है।
