STATE-LEVEL FUNCTION IN MEMORY OF BHAI GHANHYA JI TO BE ORGANISED AS “MANAV SEVA DIWAS”

FUNCTION TO BE ORGANISED IN GOVERNMENT COLLEGE FOR GIRLS LUDHIANA ON SEPTEMBER 20 CABINET MINISTER BHARAT BHUSHAN ASHU WOULD BE THE CHIEF GUEST ON THE OCCASION Ludhiana, September 17, 2018: Deputy Commissioner Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal has informed that the Punjab government would be organising a state-level function in the memory of Bhai Ghanhya Ji as “Manav Seva Diwas”. This function would be organised in the premises of Government College for Girls, near Bharat Nagar Chowk, Ludhiana from 10:30 am onwards on September 20, 2018. He further informed that Cabinet Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu would be the chief guest on the occasion. He informed that this function is being organised to spread the teachings of Bhai Ghanhya Ji, as he served the injured soldiers in the Mughal-Sikh war without any discrimination. The Deputy Commissioner has urged the city residents to attend this function in large numbers.
