Sports events being held at DMCH

Ludhiana, January 23, 2017: As a part of SMASH-2017, which is a sports fiesta being conducted by the institution every year, various sports events have being organized till now by DMCH. The concluding day of SMASH-2017 will be celebrated by organising Annual Athletic Meet, in which both faculty and students of various MBBS batches will participate. Principal Dr Sandeep Puri congratulated the students who participated in the sports events. Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina,who is also Chairman of DMC Sports Committee said that it is very essential for the medicos to participate in sports activities as it inculcated in them a spirit of teammanship, co-operation, fair play and leadership skills.
Giving further information,Co-ordinators of DMC Sports Committee-Dr Sanjeev Uppal and Dr Prabhdeep Singh Nain said that till now, matches in Basket Ball, Football and Cricket have been held.

In the Basket Ball Match (Female), students of Batch 2015 played with Batch 2016 and Batch 2016 emerged as winner. Batch 2015 played with Batch 2014 and Batch 2014 was the winner.
