Six police personnel sustain injuries in road accident near Rasulra village in Khanna

Khanna,October 14, 2017: Six police personnel including women were injured when a truck collided with a police vehicle near village Rasulra near here. As per information the police personnel were returning towards Khanna from Issru in a police vehicle after performing their duty at a religious function of Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale. When they reached near village Rasulra suddenly a speeding truck coming from Khanna side collided head on with the police vehicle. Due to collision the police vehicle later hit a road side tree resulting injuries to six police personnel including four women police personal. The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital, Khanna from where they were discharged after first aid. SHO Sadar Khanna Vinod Kumar when contacted confirmed the incident and said that a case was registered against the truck driver while all the police personnel were out of danger.
