Shanta donates Rs.5 lakh to encourage public for development

Dharamshala, April 12, 2016: BJP MP from Kangra Shanta Kumar has given Rs 5 lakh from his MP Fund to help the villagers of Khajjian to construct a road in village at their own. The 2 times ex-CM of Himachal Pradesh Shanta Kumar was so impressed by the decision of the villagers to construct the road without waiting for the government help that he helped them with the discretionary funds.
Kumar said vide a written statement in Dharamshala on Tuesday, “If the public takes the initiative at their own for the developmental works, the government doesn’t lack behind to co operate.”
