Ferozepur, September 24, 2012 : The Ferozepur City police have booked seven persons under Gambling Act.
Stating this, Inspector Gurdip Singh, SHO, Ferozepur City police station informed that a police team headed by ASI Suresh Kumar recovered Rs.12,775 on arrest of seven persons allegedly found gambling.
He further informed that on getting a tip-off, a raid was conducted by the police team and Mohinder Singh, Vinod Kumar, Parmod Kumar,Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Vishal Kumar and Rajesh Kumar were found playing cards.
All the seven persons have been booked under Gambling Act and were released on bail, he added.
