Seven day workshop of Mass Communication Department concluded at HMV

Jalandhar, April 28, 2015: The Mass Communication & Video Production Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a seven day workshop Lights, Camera, Action for students of Add on course of Anchoring, Reporting and News Reading.  

This workshop was organized in collaboration with Shamsheer Communications Pvt. Ltd.  Ramanpreet Kaur.  In seven days workshop, she gave tips regarding Anchoring, Reporting and News Reading to the students.  She said that self confidence matters a lot for a good anchor or a news reader.  Clarity of language, punctuality, facial expressions and news sense are also important qualities for a news caster.  On the last day of the workshop, shows of the students were recorded.  Every student recorded her news bulletin and anchoring shows.  The shows were award show, countdown show, interview with Kejriwal, Prabh’s Alchemi.  

The inauguration of recording was done by Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj.  She said that reach of the media is far and wide.  Students can get good opportunities in media with self discipline and self confidence.  

Ramanpreet Kaur said that students performed very well in this workshop.  They can get good placements in media with a professional approach.
