Sad demise of mother of PU Controller of Examinations

Chandigarh, October 13, 2016: Panjab University (PU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Arun Kumar Grover has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Sardarni Inderbir Kaur, the mother of PU Controller of Examinations Prof Parvinder Singh.
Sardarni Inderbir Kaur passed away yesterday evening. The cremation was held today at Cremation Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh. Large number of PU fellows, teachers, officers including Dean University Instructions Prof Dinesh Kumar Gupta and PU Registrar Col.GS Chadha (retd.) paid homage to the departed soul.
In his condolence message, Prof Grover has prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the bereaved family for bearing this huge loss.
The ‘Bhog & Antim Ardas’ would be held at PU Gurudwara, Sector 14, Chandigarh on October 16, 2016 from 1 pm to 2 pm.
