Rs. 9.50 lakk to be distributed to Printers at Tirupur

Ludhiana, August 23, 2014: Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) will distribute Rs. 9,50,000 to the delegates who visited IPEX-2014 at London (U.K.).  This grant-in-aid is received from the Ministry of MSME, Government of India as the reimbursement under international cooperation scheme.
21 member delegation with one office bearer visited IPEX-2014 at London in the month of March, 2014. Giving details about the group visit, Kamal Chopra, General Secretary OPA said, this time delegation included the printers from various parts of the country and a major portion of the delegation was from South India. Chopra further added that taking in consideration the convenience of the delegates it is decided to organise the distribution ceremony at Tirupur (Tamilnadu).  
OPA will organize the distribution ceremony at Hotel MKM, Tirupur (Tamilnadu) on 7th September, 2014 at 6.00 p.m., under the auspices of MSME and some senior person may participate as Chief Guest for the purpose. Printers from Chennai, Salem, Coimbatore, Karur, Calicut, Sivakasi, Pollachi, Bangalore, Erode and Krishnagiri are likely to participate.
Giving details Chopra said, OPA has already distributed approx. 1.2 crore to the printers for visiting various international exhibitions and it is ninth time that OPA is once again going to distribute the amount. Perhaps OPA is the only association in India to utilise the scheme for the overall benefit of the printers of India, Chopra added.
