Amritsar, September 25, 2015: Zonal Youth Festival of Government Colleges/Constituent Colleges and Associate Institutes was concluded here today in the Dasmesh Auditorium of GNDU. The results of the festival are as follow:

'B' DIVISION
CHAMPION : G.N.D. University College, Chung - 28
RUNNERS UP : S.G.A.D. Govt. College, Tarn Taran - 13
THIRD : Govt. Arts & Sports College, Jalndhar - 8
ASSOCIATE INSTITUTE
CHAMPION : Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Coll. for women, Amritsar. - 35
RUNNERS UP : Sant Avtar Singh Ji Yaadgari College, Seechewal - 18
THIRD : Punjab Coll. of Engg., Jalandhar - 11
S. Gurbir Singh, District Session Judge, Amritsar presided over the valedictory function. Mrs. Arvinder Kaur was the guest of honor and Ms. Girish Bansal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar was special guest.
While addressing the student artists S. Gurbir Singh said that these festivals not only promote cultural heritage among our youth but also channelize their energy towards constructive activities. He congratulated Dr. Jagjit Kaur, Director Youth Welfare to successfully organizing this youth festival. S. Gurbir Singh, Ms. Arvinder Kaur Guest of Honor & Ms. Girish Bansal, Special Guest and Dr. Jagjit Kaur honoured the winners with trophies.
