REPRESENTATIONS from employees sought for promotion to posts of senior assistants

Chandigarh, February 27, 2013: The Punjab government has sought representations from the eligible employees working in Punjab Civil Secretariat and in Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi for promotion to vacant posts of Senior Assistants.

According to an official spokesman, clerks with minimum five years experience or eligible Junior Assistants desirous of seeking promotion should submit their representations to Establishment-I branch through their respective Heads of the Department.

He clarified that Junior Assistants/Senior Clerks and Clerks who had been earlier debarred for promotion and have completed the said period of two years should also convey to the Secretariat administration whether their name should be considered for promotion or not.

The Spokesman clarified that once an employee is promoted to the post of Senior Assistant his case would not be considered for reversion. He added that all eligible employees must apply within 15 days otherwise it would be deemed that they were not interested in seeking promotion.
