Punjab registers 3rd consecutive win in national inspire awards exhibition

Chandigarh, October 12, 2013: The Third National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC) under the INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) Award Scheme conclude with the national awards presentation ceremony on 10-10-2013. Punjab State bagged first position in zonal level & also won first state award. Rohit Banger of Govt. High School Mehta, District Kapurthala is awarded the first prize for the North Region at Third National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC)- 2013 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. He is awarded with the cheque of  Rs. 20,000 and a certificate.

Jaismeen Kaur, Govt. Sen. Sec. School Jabowal, Amritsar who is studying in 7th class has been adjudged first in the State award. She has been awarded with the cheque of 10,000 and a certificate.

Rasika Rawley, Amritsar is also awarded with millionth award with the cheque of Rs. 5,000 at this National Level Exhibition. Parampal Kaur, Additional State Project Director, SSA, Punjab released this press release showing marvelous achievements of Govt. schools Students.
