Rakhi Making Competition at KMV

Jalandhar, August 28, 2015: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s, Student Welfare Department organised a Rakhi Making Competition on the occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’. The colourful  creative creations of young sisters were a spectular sight. It was literally an expression of genuine love for their brothers. The competition was won by Aarti Verma and Harkamal Kaur from M.Com Semester III. Simran and Pallavi of XI Comm. Of KMV Collegiate School stood 2nd while Rajwinder of B.Com (P) Semester V and Shobna of B.Sc. Med (Sem. III) got 3rd position in this competition. Kulwinder, Rinkel, Ishita, Neha and Harpreet also got the prices.

Ms. Suman Khurana, Ms. Veena Deepak and Ms. Amanpreet Khurana were the judges for the competition. It is also noteworthy that these Rakhi’s were sold at reasonable prices in order to generate money for the poor students fund. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the creative endeavour and Dr Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare, Mrs Rashmi Sharma, Mrs Anshu Oberoi, Dr Neetu Chopra, Mrs Rashmi Randev and Mrs. Vani Dutt for having organized the event.
