Students displayed various models at CT Public School, Jalandhar on Saturday. 

Jalandhar, June 7, 2015: CT Public School launched a drive to awaken the people to take up the responsibility of protecting Mother Earth. With this holistic approach, CT Public School celebrated Global Technology Week with a motive to train the children to exercise their cognitive abilities and skills to create projects of Science, Mathematics and Social Sciences and these projects were showcased in an exhibition.

With this grave and holistic thought, students designed projects on Science and Social Sciences as part of the ISA Activities like Waste Management, Disaster Management, Water Management, Conservation of Natural Resources for Irrigation, Modern Methods of Farming and Advanced Technology that could sustain development and growth. In Mathematics projects, the students took up the statistics of various countries whereby it was shown how growth in population affected the economy and its drastic effect on the environment.

The Chief Guest on the occasion was S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) while Mr. Balwinder Singh (Deputy Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus) was the Guest of Honour. Principals from various schools of Jalandhar and parents were also present to witness the projects created to awaken the masses.

The projects were evaluated by the judges. Science department clinched the first place while Social Science and Mathematics got second and third positions respectively. While in Class wise, Category 1- 5B, 5A and 4B and in Category 2- 6A, 8B and 6B class won the top three positions respectively.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) applauded the sincere efforts and hard work of the students and teachers for putting up a great show.
