Apeejay College of Fine Arts conducted workshop on 'Landscape Painting'

Jalandhar, August 22, 2015: The Department of Fine Arts of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar conducted a one day workshop on 'Landscape Painting' with Mr.Niranjan Bhatia, a renowned artist and retired Principal of Govt. College, Hoshiarpur as a resource person.  Mr. Bhatia explained the nuances of landscape painting and also taught the students the fundamentals of drawing and painting.  He emphasized on the importance of different perspectives in creating works of art.  He said that imagination and creativity go hand in hand in creating landscape paintings. Principal of the College, Dr. Sucharita praised the efforts of Ms. Jeevan Kumari, Head, Department of Fine Arts and Dr. Rimpy Agarwal, Assistant Prof in Fine Arts in organizing the workshop.
