LUDHIANA, February 21, 2018: Additional Deputy Commissioner-Cum-Additional District Electoral Officer Mrs.Neeru Katyal Gupta said that National Election Quiz-2018 which is being organized by Election Commission of India (ECI) can be very useful to aware the people especially the youngsters about the elections and democratic system in the country.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mrs.Neeru Katyal Gupta said that the efforts have been made by ECI to organize such quiz, have been very productive to tell the people about the importance of being a voter.
She said that the National Elections Quiz is organized as part of ECI’s initiative of Empowering Young and Future Electors.
She informed that the first, second and third telecast of this quiz program was already done on Rajya Sabha TV on January 25, February 4 and 11. He said that the fifth, sixth and seventh episode would be telecasted at 9 am on February 25 and March 4 and 11 respectively.
She said that the youths can watch the episodes on Rajya Sabha TV which is available on Tata Sky Channel-599, Videocon D2H-Channel-330, on Den Network Channel-322, Asianet Digital Channel-526 and Airtel Digital Channel-347. Besides these episodes would be available facebook page of ECI and Rajya Sabha TV’s website and YouTube, ADC added.
She appealed the youths especially the students also to watch this quiz for enhancing their knowledge about elections and democratic system of the country.
