R. P.Nibariya Joins RCF As General Manager

Kapurthala, October 24, 2015: Sh.R.P.Nibariya, an officer of Indian Railway Services of Electrical Engineers has taken over as General Manager of Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala.  Prior to this assignment, he was working as Additional Member (Electrical) at Railway Board, New Delhi.
 
Sh.R.P.Nibariya joined Indian Railways in 1980, his first appointment being in Chitranjan Locomotive Works as Assistant Works Manager where he rendered service for 10 years. He worked as Joint Director for Research Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO) Inspection at BHEL Bhopal for 5 years to enable BHEL to manufacture Hitachi Traction Motors under Transfer of Technology. He also worked for traction rewinding workshop for two years where he established Hitachi motor and 3 phase motor rewinding. 
 
Sh Nibariya was instrumental in prestigious project of DC-AC conversion Suburban area of Mumbai. First AC traction in Suburban section was commissioned in June, 2000 between Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) and Vasai Road under his leadership.
 
Shri R.P.Nibariya has also held general administration post of ADRM, Bhopal, DRM, Rajkot, Sr.DGM, NER, Gorakhpur.  When at CLW, Chittranjan, Shri Nibariya got training at Hitachi Motor, Japan for Hitachi Traction Motors under ToT (Transfer of Technology).  Almost half of his 35 year career in Indian Railways has been in Production Units and Workshops.  He carries  vast experience in Production Units. Simultaneously in open line, he has worked as Sr.DEE/Loco,Dy.CEE/TRO, CEDE, CESE, CETE, CEE  etc. in his own Electrical Department.
