Khanna, April 29, 2015: A meeting of Advocates from across the state was held here today, in which Punjab Sub Divisional Bars Association was constituted to look into the problems being faced by Advocates on Sub Division Level. 

Giving this information, Bar Association Khanna President Manish Khanna who presided over today’s meeting demanded that family courts should be allowed to continue on Sub Division Level to save the money and time of Litigants as people will be forced to go to District Courts instead of Sub Division Courts. The Advocates which have come from different Sub Divisions of the state demanded that Moga family Court should be abolished immediately and should be set up at Nihal Singh Wala. 

The meeting decided to constitute Punjab Sub Division Bars Association to look into the problems of Advocates on state level and demanded that no District Family Court should be set up at District Level.

Manish Khanna said Presidents and Secretaries of more than 25 Sub Division Bar Associations from all over the state took part in the today’s meeting and expressed consent to set up state body. Ad. Satinder Singh Bajwa Khamano, Parminder Singh  Nihal Singh Wala, Gian Singh Nabha, Prempal Moonak, Rajesh Jaalu Amloh, Piratpal Singh Payal, Sachin Kumar Kharar, Lakhvir Singh Samrala, Kashmir Singh Philor, Navdeep Singh Dhillon Samana, Rajesh Patial Derabassi, Jasdeep Singh Poonia Talwandi Sabo and others took part in today’s meeting.
