Punjab School Zonal Tournament

Ludhiana, September 14, 2012: The three-day Punjab School Zonal Table Tennis Tournament held at BCM Dugri.

Around 14 teams from different city schools participated. There were three different categories i.e. Under 14, Under 17 and Under 19 for both boys & girls respectively. All the teams played in high spirit of sportsmanship.

The I position in U-14 girls went to DAV (BRS Nagar), whereas II position was bagged by Sat Paul Mittal School and III was bagged by BCM Dugri.

In the U-17 girls category the I position was bagged by DAV (BRS Nagar), whereas II position was bagged by Bal Bharti and III was bagged by BCM Dugri.

In the U-19 girls category I position went to BCM Dugri whereas II & III category was bagged by BCM Shastri Nagar and Sat Paul Mittal.

The boys were no less in any way. They played with equally high spirits .

In the U-14 boys category the I position went to Sat Paul Mittal whereas II position went to DAV, BRS Nagar and III to Bal Bharti School. In the U-17 boys I position went to Sat Paul Mittal, II to DCM Presidency and III to DAV BRS Nagar respectively. In the U-19 Boys Sacred Heart, Sarabha Nagar bagged the I position and II and III position went to Sat Paul Mittal  and BCM Dugri.

The school principal Dr. Vandna Shahi appreciated the game spirit of all the teams and gave away the trophies to the winners.
