Chandigarh, October 14, 2015: The Punjab Government today firmly vowed to support the legitimate right of Punjab Cadre teachers working at UT Chandigarh on deputation. This commitment was exhibited by Dr.Daljit Singh Cheema, Education Minister at his official residence during a meeting with Punjab Cadre UT teachers.
Dr Cheema said that the SAD-BJP Government would not let Punjab Cadre any Officers or Employees at UT to face discrimination and their constitutional rights would be safeguarded. On m this occasion Teachers honoured Dr. Cheema and Mr. Balbir Singh Dhol, DPI (Secondary Education) for their support.
Teachers extended gratitude towards Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema for taking up their case of forcefully repatriation from UT to Punjab by UT Administration. They said that with the timely intervention of Punjab Government their repatriation process of Punjab Cadre teachers was stopped. They also showered heartfelt regards upon Mr. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Mr. Balwinder Singh Bhunder and Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, all MPs, who had represented their case before the Punjab Governor and UT Administrator.
