Students participate in Techno Fest-2015 at B.C.M.Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh road, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, October 14, 2015: B.C.M.Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh road, Ludhiana is organising a two day event ‘Techno Fest’–2015 (An Enlightened Vision) to celebrate 85th birth anniversary of 11th President of India revered Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. On day one 88 participants from 22 schools of the city participated in an inter school declamation contest and portrait design contest. On day two 15 October, a Science Quiz is scheduled followed by the prize distribution and valediction ceremony. The school Principal Sh. D.P. Guleria said that the students of B.C.M. have been celebrating birthday of their beloved leader with great fervor for last ten years but this year the event has an added nostalgic enthusiasm as Dr. Kalam is not among us in his mortal body but will be perpetually with us as a source of inspiration. He further added that Dr. Kalam has left an indelible influence over hearts and minds of our children and Techno Fest provides a platform for the students of city schools to exhibit their talents in oratory, drawing, science and various other skills.
