Punjab News/NAC Status for 9 villages

Chandigarh, December 5, 2013: The Punjab government has today accorded notified area committee (NAC) status to nine villages of Bathinda, Mansa and Kapurthala.
Disclosing this here today Anil Joshi, Local Bodies Minister, Punjab said that seven villages of Bathinda districts namely Chowake, Nathana, Rampura, Lehra Mohabbat, Balianwali, Kot Smeer and Bhai Ruppa were awarded the NAC status. Besides that village Boha of district Mansa and village Nadala of district Kapurthala have also been given the NAC status.
