Ferozepur, January 6, 2013: The police have busted a motorcycle gang lifter with the efforts of Sadar Police Station team headed by Ashwani Kumar ASI.
On arrested one of the member of the motorcycle gang lifter, two stolen motorcycles have been recovered from his possession and three of the members managed to escape and police is conducting raids at the suspected places to nab them.
More articles are expected on further investigation on arrest of all the members of the gang.
Gurinderjit Singh, SHO informed that the police got a tip-off that motorcycle lifter gang is moving near Hussainiwala Border workshop and under directions of SSP and DSP, the police got a success on arrested of Gurpreet Singh alias Gora resident of Bare Ke on putting up a naka on Border Road and two motorcycles were recovered from their possession. The other three members, Nishan Singh of village Walian, Gurdip Singh alias Deepi of Chandiwala and Onkar Singh alias Kajal of Bareke could not be arrested by the police and managed to escape.
The police have registered a case against four members of the motorcycle lifters gang and started further proceedings in the case.
