Ludhiana News/Padma Shri Dr. Suman Sahai to address seminar on use of GM Organisms on Nov 30

Ludhiana, November 29, 2013: The use of Genetically Modified Organisms like Bt. Cotton for the production of agricultural products has generated serious debate worldwide. There are differing opinions on this issue since these have been used without proper research and assessment at several places.
In this connection BJGVJ is organising a seminar on November 30 at Government College for Girls, Ludhiana. As per the programme, the first session will be an interaction with college students from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and second session will be a meeting with the activists of BJGVJ from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Padma Shri  Dr. Suman Sahai, an internationally renowned scientist and founder chairperson of Gene Campaign will be the main speaker.
