Punjab News/Cabinet Ministers greets people on eve of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev

Chandigarh, November 16, 2013: Punjab Cabinet Ministers today extended their warm greetings to the people on the eve of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev.
Congratulating people on this occasion Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Chunni Lal Bhagat, Madan Mohan Mittal, Surjit Kumar Jyani, Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Anil Joshi, Surjit Singh Rakhra and Sharanjit Singh Dhillon said that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji showed us the path to spiritual salvation and his teachings would always continue to inspire us to embrace equality, compassion and humanism. They said that this day gives us an opportunity to deeply introspect ourselves about Guru Ji's message of truthfulness and remembering God, honestly earning through one's physical and mental effort while accepting God's gifts and blessings and to share within society.
The Ministers said that Sri Guru Nanak's profound message of leading an honest, truthful and virtuous life would continue to guide and inspire humanity in times to come.
