Punjab News- Waiting list staff nurses gets last chance to join duty

Chandigarh, September10, 2013: Punjab Health department has decided to provide one more chance to staff nurses from the waiting list, names of candidates selected in different categories has been put on the website.

Disclosing this Official Spokesperson of the Health Department said that 101 nurses were selected from the waiting list but still 23 selected candidates from the waiting list have not ]reported on duty. Therefore Health Department has given another chance to these candidates to report on duty by 20th September, 2013. He added that list of these candidates is available on the official website of the departmentwww.pbhealth.gov.in.

Spokesperson said that the Health Department has recruited 595 staff nurses in the health department out of which only 23 selected candidates are left who didn’t join the duty. He added that the candidates who have not joined the duty have been provided last chance to join the duty after that their selection would be considered as cancelled.

Spokesperson said that the Health Department has asked the selected candidates from the waiting list to get their medical test done and report to the Director Health Services, Punjab by 20th September, 2013. Appointment letters to the newly selected candidates would be handed soon.
