Punjab News- 10 new judicial court complexes would be completed in given time frame: Dhillon

Chandigarh, September 8, 2013: The construction work of ten new Judicial Complexes would be completed within stipulated timeframe.

This was disclosed by Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Public Works Minister Punjab.

PWD Minister said that SAD-BJP Government was committed to upgrade the standards of existing administrative, judicial complexes and Public buildings. Under this campaign, the state would also witness 10 state-of-the-art Judicial Court Complexes at Tarn Taran,  Ajnala, Batala, SAS Nagar, Ferozepur, Zira, Kapurthala, Moga, Khamano District Fatehgarh Sahib and Sardulgarh, which were on the edge of completion, he added.

He said a new judicial court complex at SBS Nagar would be constructed for which notification for the acquisition of land has been issued under the provisions of Section-4 of land acquisition Act 1894(Central Act No.-1 of 1894). He further said that in total 13 acre, 2 kanal, 4 marlas land would be acquired for the construction of new judicial court complex from village Jethu Majra, teshil Nawan Shar, District SBS Nagar.

The Minister said that the state Government is committed to provide better infrastructure and road connectivity for the development of the state. He said that the Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal has taken keen interest in upgrading the physical infrastructure of Judicial Court Complexes. He said that to tackle the menace of traffic, a special program for creation of Rural Link Roads in the state was also under consideration of state government.
