CEREMONY: Dream house award ceremony

Ludhiana, January 12, 2013: A dream House ceremony was organised by the leading cement company ACC Limited here on Friday evening.

The motive behind the programme was to felicitate customers constructing their dream houses.

In a gathering of around 200 people, 16 customers were awarded.

The awards were given away by the chief guests present from Ludhiana, Sanjay Goel (Secretary, Indian Institute of Architects-Chandigarh Punjab Chapter) and K. S. Bedi (Prof. in Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College).

Goel explained in detail about the good professional values from architectural and interior designing angle to be followed in dream houses.

The chief guests were also active members of the judgment panel for final selection.

The customers were awarded on the basis of good construction practices adopted by them on sites, the elevation, interior designing, selection of good building materials, involvement of technical experts, time spent by the customer and  his family on site.

In totality 500 houses under construction in and around Ludhiana were nominated for the awards out of which 16 houses were awarded.

On this occasion company officers Vivek Chandra Singh, Rajiv Rampal, Navneet Bansal and others were present.

The customers alongwith their families enjoyed the ceremony and later on danced to the tunes of a live rhythm band.

The programme continued till late night. Customers’ had a fantastic feedback on the programme.

Rattan Singh Jolly, Arwinder Singh Bajwa, Tarun Garg, Gurnaib Singh, Dr. Omi Jindal, Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh, Prof. Brar, Amrit Pal Singh were few of the awardees for dream houses.

Out of 16 awardees, 11 were from Ludhiana city and five were from Jagraon, Mullanpur and Jodhan.

Area In-charge Ludhiana Vivek Chandra Singh thanked everybody for their presence while Rajiv Rampal Customer services in-charge J & k and Punjab told customers about the concept  and motive of dream house awards.

The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks from Rahul.
